Mallard Marsh Campground

This campground is next to Hosmer Lake and provides opportunities for fly-fishing as well as access to trails for hiking and horseback riding.

There is a hardened boat ramp located nearby at the South Campground.

General Information

Tentative Opening: May 30, 2025 - September 28, 2025

Visit Recreation.gov for current operating dates. This campground will be closing at noon on September 28, 2025, and the last night to reserve a campsite is September 27, 2025. 

Maximum site spur length is 40 feet.

  • Single Campsite Rate: $24/night
  • One vehicle included with reservation – Each Additional Vehicle: $10.00
NOTE: Holders of a Golden Age and Golden Access Passports and Senior and Access Passes are entitled to the following discounts on expanded amenity recreation fees: -  A 50 percent discount on the fee for a single camping unit. This discount does not apply to use of a cabin, lookout, double camping unit, triple camping unit, group camping unit, extra vehicle fees, or any additional camping units and separately charged utility, water, hook-up or day use fees.

Directions

From Bend, OR: Travel 35.5 miles southwest on Cascade Lakes Hwy (46), then 1.3 miles east on Forest Road 4625.  South Campground will come up on the right side first and then Mallard Marsh.
