Three Creek Meadow Horse Camp
Three Creeks Meadow Horse Camp is one of four facilities located near Three Creeks Lake and the designated horse camp for the Three Creeks area.

Day use parking is not available at Three Creek Meadow Horse Camp.
Horse campgrounds have been designed to accommodate people who need to corral their horses. We have a limited number of these kinds of campgrounds and ask, out of courtesy and safety for you and the horses, to please consider camping elsewhere if you do not have a horse. We have many campgrounds nearby.
General Information
- Three Creek Meadow Trailhead In order to enter the Three Sisters Wilderness from this trailhead, you must obtain a free, self-issue permit at the trailhead AND be in possession of a valid campground reservation. Physical or digital verification of a valid campground reservation are accepted.
- Tam McArthur Trailhead Central Cascades Wilderness Permit required between June 15 and October 15; reserve at Recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777.
- Camping in the meadow is absolutely prohibited.
- The Maximum spur length is 30 ft.
- As part of a larger effort to reduce invasive species on national forest lands, weed-free feed is required on the Deschutes National Forest. Locate a weed-free feed vendor near you.
- Wilderness restrictions apply
- Maps of areas where special restrictions apply:
- Motorized and mechanical equipment (including bicycles and drones) are prohibited in the Wilderness
- Groups must be under 12 people and 12 head of stock
- Build campfires at least 100 feet away from water
- Pack in / Pack out!
- “Take only pictures, leave only footprints” — please refrain from cutting, damaging, or gathering vegetation or other forest items (e.g. rocks, artifacts, etc.)
- Please bury human waste 6-8 inches deep and at least 200 feet away from water
- Single Campsite Rate: $23/night
- One vehicle included with reservation – Each Additional Vehicle: $10.00
