Sno-Park: Atkisson
In a mature and varied forest setting interspersed with mountain meadows and geographic features, this Sno-Park is near the Mt. Adams Wilderness. Here visitors will find access to trails leading to remote forest lakes, high-mountain elevations and some of the most spectacular country found anywhere.
This area offers 16k of ski and snowshoe trails (marked but not groomed) and 154 miles of groomed snowmobile trails. This Sno-Park features a warming hut with wood stove. Parking lot capacity is 30 vehicles. In the summer, this site can be reserved as Atkisson Group Camp.

A valid Washington State Sno-Park Permit is required for each vehicle December 1 to March 31.
Permits help pay for snow removal, trail grooming, sanitation facilities, mapping, trail signs, safety education, enforcement and program administration.
Sno-Park Permits are available to purchase online and also at Ashford Valley Grocery in Ashford, Trout Lake Grocery in Trout Lake and the Chelatchie Prairie General Store in Amboy.
Snowmobiles are prohibited in designated Wilderness.
