Trailhead: Snowgrass
Provides access to the Snowgrass Trail #96 and the Goat Ridge Trail #95 which lead into the Goat Rocks Wilderness.

Please note when researching trip reports on Alltrails.com or Washington Trail Association do not confuse Goat Lake in the Goat Rock Wilderness on the Gifford Pinchot NF with Goat Lake on the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie NF. Washington state has many locations named Goat Lake. They are all in very different parts of Washington experiencing seasonal changes at different times of year depending on elevation of the Cascade Mountain Range.

Wilderness permits are required within the Goat Rocks Wilderness. The self-issuing permits are free and are available at the trailhead.

Directions
From Packwood, WA travel west on US-12 for 2.7 miles then go left on Forest Road 21. Stay on Forest Road 21 for 13 miles then take a slight left towards Forest Road 2150. Follow 2150 and take the 045 spur to the trailhead.
Parking
This is a very popular site, and parking fills up quickly during peak season use. For safety reasons and accessibility for search and rescue, please keep Forest Road 2150 clear of parking on road leading up to trailheads. Use Berry Patch Trailhead parking area as an alternate location to park.
