Trail #39 Morrison Creek

This Trail Open to Hikers, Bikers and Equestrian Use.

This trail connects Crofton Butte Trail #73 to Gotchen Creek Trail #40 allowing for multiple loops when including Buck Creek Trail #54.

Current Conditions
10/26/2024: Trail was damaged by the Williams Mine Fire (2024). Hazardous conditions and snags exist on the trail. Both bridges burned but there are fords for hikers. Read information about hiking in burned areas (Burned Area Safety on the PCT web site) before you go. Remember hiking this trail is at your own risk. Contact Mt. General Information

Low elevation trails typically melt out by mid-May. High elevation trails typically melt out by mid-July.  Snow may persist in spots on north facing slopes. There may be downed trees, washouts, and/or landslides on trails. Carrying mosquito repellent is advisable. Backcountry creeks and streams may dry out so plan ahead in case you need to bring in water.  Recreating in burned areas poses greater risks. See safety tips for burned areas. Please assist in reporting wildfires by calling 911 or Columbia Dispatch at (360) 891-5140.  Sign up for emergency alerts by county.
