Gold Basin Campground
Gold Basin Campground is the largest campground on the Mountain Loop Highway and offers the most developed and accessible camping experience.
There is a large, open field suitable for frisbee throwing and baseball play. Across the road from the campground is Gold Basin Pond, a salmon fry viewing area. The 1/2-mile boardwalk is accessible to wheelchairs, and benches are provided on the viewing platforms for the more contemplative visitor to sit awhile.
