Kelcema Lake Trail 718

This is a short, pleasant hike for beginning backpackers. The trail provides access for fishermen and easy portage for small boats and rubber rafts. It can be very muddy. The 23-acre lake sits in a subalpine setting, surrounded by trees and vegetation within the Boulder River Wilderness.

Huckleberries may be found here in late summer and early fall. Please use only established campsites. Opportunities for camping are limited in this very popular lake basin. A back country box toilet is available. Please use “Leave No Trace” practices.
