Green Canyon Campground & Day Use
Green Canyon Campground sits in a canyon that was carved out by the scenic Salmon River. The campground sits next to this popular river and is nestled amongst old-growth trees. There are several hiking trails nearby including those that take you to the surrounding Salmon-Huckleberry Wilderness.
This campground has a seasonal gate that closes for the winter.

Open 24 hours/day
- Camping: 50% discount for single site camping with any of these passes: Interagency Senior, Interagency Access, Golden Age or Golden Access.
- Day use: The only recreation pass accepted in lieu of day-use fee payment is the $30 Annual Northwest Forest Pass.
Vehicles 22 ft. max. See Oregon Fish & Wildlife's fishing regulations for specific regulations governing fishing in the Salmon River.
Overnight Use:
Single Site: $25 per night
Additional Vehicle Fee: $8 per night
This site is operated by Alaska Recreational Management, a concessionaire.

Directions
Directions from Sandy, OR - Travel southeast on Highway 26 to Forest Road 2618 (about one mile past the town of Wemme). Follow 2618 south for approximately four miles to the campground.
