Hoodview Campground (Timothy Lake)

The Hoodview Campground sits on the shores of Timothy Lake. The surrounding forest setting offers scenic views, several trails for exploration, and abundant fishing. The boat launch is for registered campers only. The campground has barrier-free campsites and restrooms. There are six hike-to campsites available as well.

All sites at Hoodview Campground are reservable. If reservable sites are open, they are first come, first served for one night.
Campsites can be reserved online at Recreation.gov or by calling 877-444-6777.

General Information

Open 24 hours/day

Camping: 50% discount for single site camping with any of these passes: Interagency Senior, Interagency Access, Golden Age or Golden Access. Discount applies only the site physically occupied by the pass holder. It does not extend to any additional fee(s) or campsite(s) occupied by members of the pass holder's party.

10 mph speed limit for motorized boats in the lake.

Overnight Use:
Single Site: $26 per night
Hike-In Site: $22 per night
Additional Vehicle Fee: $10 per vehicle per night
Holiday Fee: $2 per night

Directions

From Sandy, OR - Travel east on Highway 26 for approximately 40 miles to Skyline Road (Rd 42). Turn right on Skyline Road, travel south 9 miles. Turn right on FS Road 57, west 2 miles, turn right at the Hoodview Campground entrance sign.
