Oak Fork Campground (Timothy Lake)

Oak Fork Campground is located on the shores of Timothy Lake in the shadow of Mt. Hood. The surrounding forest setting offers scenic views, several trails for exploration, and abundant fishing. There is a large parking area on the lakeshore for boaters.

Oak Fork Campground has 8 hike-to sites, 6 cabins, and 36 single-family campsites. Campground has barrier-free campsites and restrooms.

All sites at Oak Fork Campground are reservable. If reservable sites are open, they are first come, first served for one night.
Campsites can be reserved online at Recreation.gov or by calling 877-444-6777.

General Information

Open 24 hours/day

Camping: 50% discount for single site camping with any of these passes: Interagency Senior, Interagency Access, Golden Age or Golden Access.
Day use: National Forest Recreation Day Pass, Annual Northwest Forest Pass, and Interagency Passes may be used as a form of fee payment.

10 mph speed limit for motorized boats on the lake.

Overnight Use:
Single Site: $26 per night
Single Site (Hike-In): $22 per night
Cabin: $70 per night
Additional Vehicle Fee: $10 per night
Additional Holiday Weekend: $2 per night
Day Use:
$10 per vehicle per day

Directions

From Sandy, OR - Travel east on U.S. Highway 26 for approximately 40 miles to Skyline Road (Rd 42). Turn right on Skyline Road, travel south 9 miles. Turn right on FS Road 57 for 1 mile, turn right at the Oak Fork Campground entrance sign.
