PROHIBITIONS
Pursuant to 36 CFR 261.50(a)(b), the following acts are prohibited on designated portions of National Forest System (NFS) roads, trails, and lands shown on the attached map and described below, within the Okanogan - Wenatchee National Forest.
Area A - South of Railroad Creek
- To go into or be upon any area which is closed for the protection of public health or safety. For the purposes of this order, the restriction applies to the entry, occupancy, and use of National Forest System Lands in the Holden Mine area when posted as closed. The maximum extent of the closure area is defined by the following described boundary: From the intersection of Railroad Creek and the Glacier Peak Wilderness Boundary in T31N, R16E, S12, then south and east to Copper Creek in T31N,R17E, S18, then east and northeast to the junction of the wilderness boundary in and Railroad Creek in T31N, R17E, S9, then west along Railroad Creek to the wilderness boundary in T31N, R16E, S12 (36 CFR 261.53 (e)).
- Being on a trail. For the purposes of this order, this restriction applies to use and travel by any means on the following trails within Area A, as described above, when posted as closed (36 CFR 261.55 (a)(b)).

Area B - Forest Development Road #8301 Corridor
- Being on a road or to go into or be upon an area which is closed for the protection of public health or safety. For the purposes of this order this restriction applies to any or all portions of Forest Development Road 8301 and up to a 300-foot (100 yard) buffer on both sides of the road as measured from the centerline of the road when posted as closed. The road begins at Lucerne Landing in T31N, R18E, S10 and ends at Holden Village in T31N, R17E, S7 (36 CFR 261.53 (e) & 36 CFR 261.54 (e)).
Area C - Holden Village area north of Railroad Creek
- To go into or be upon any area which is closed for the protection of public health or safety. The restriction applies to the entry, occupancy, and use of National Forest System Lands in the Holden Mine area when posted as closed. The maximum extent of the closure area is defined by the following described boundary: From the intersection of Railroad Creek and the Nine Mile Creek in T31N, R17E, S9, then following Nine Mile Creek to upstream to the Glacier Peak Wilderness Boundary near Riddle Peaks in T32, R17, S33, then along the wilderness boundary to Ten Mile Creek in T31N, R17E, S5, then NW along wilderness boundary to Martin Ridge Area in T31N, R16E, S1, then south along the wilderness boundary to Railroad Creek in T31N, R16E, S12, then east along Railroad Creek back to Nine Mile Creek in T31N, R17E, S9 (36CFR261.53 (e)).
- Being on a trail. For the purposes of this order, this restriction prohibits use and travel by any means on the following trails within Area C, as described above, when posted as closed (36CFR 2612.55 (a)(b)).

EXEMPTIONS
The following exceptions may apply:
- Any federal, state, or local officer, or member of an organized rescue or firefighting force in the performance of an official duty.
- Person with a permit, issued by the Forest Supervisor or District Ranger, specifically authorizing the otherwise prohibited act as specified in this order.
This prohibition is in addition to the general prohibitions in 36 CFR Part 261, Subpart A.
