Conrad Meadows Trailhead

Provides access to Goat Rocks Wilderness via South Fork Tieton Trail #1120 and Bear Creek Mountain Trail #1130. 

Also provides access to Ten Day Trail #1134.

General Information

  • Wilderness Permit Required: To enter this wilderness, visitors need to fill out a free permit at the trailhead.
  • Wilderness Regulations apply

Restrictions:

  • Camping prohibited within 100 feet of the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail and within 100 feet of lakes.
  • Shoe Lake basin and Snow Grass Flats are closed to camping and campfires; camping is available at Hidden Springs (about 1 mile west of Shoe Lake).
  • The Yakima Indian Reservation, bordering the Goat Rocks Wilderness on the southeast side, is closed to the general public except for the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail route

Directions

From Naches, travel west on Highway 12 W for about 22 miles. Turn left at Lost Lake Rd onto Forest Road 1200 / Tieton Reservoir Rd and go 4.5 miles. Turn left onto S Fork Tieton Rd / Forest Road 1000 and go 12.6 miles to trailhead at end of road.
