Prince Creek Campground

The area offers a floating dock with a three-boat capacity. Prince Creek offers six tent sites, five fire rings, five tables, and three toilets. Good site for larger groups.

This boat-in campground is located on the shores of Lake Chelan and borders Lake Chelan-Sawtooth Wilderness. Provides access to the Lakeshore Trail #1247 and Prince Creek Wilderness Trail #1255.

General Information

A Federal Dock Site Boat Permit is required from May 1 – October 31 for use of all National Forest and Park Service docks on Lake Chelan.

Wilderness regulations apply within Lake Chelan-Sawtooth Wilderness.

The Lady of the Lake and Stehekin Ferry provide commercial passenger ferry service between Chelan, Fields Point Landing, and Stehekin with stops available at Fields Point, Prince Creek, Moore Point, Lucerne and other locations along Lake Chelan. These commercial ferry services provide a variety of transportation options for the public. Personal Boat
Twenty-Five Mile Creek State Park is a popular boat launch for accessing many up lake recreation sites via personal boat. Please check their website for amenities, fees, and schedule: parks.wa.gov/293/Twenty-Five-Mile-Creek

Boating Distances

From Chelan, boat approximately 34 miles up lake. Prince Creek Campground is on the north shore.

From Chelan, travel south on Highway 97A for 3 miles. Turn right onto Southshore Road and go approximately 17 miles to Twenty-Five Mile Creek State Park. From the Twenty-Five Mile Creek State Park boat launch, boat approximately 15 miles to Prince Creek Campground on the north shore.
