Forks Area

The Forks area of the Olympic National Forest spans the inland northwest portion of the peninsula near Forks, Washington.

This area is enclosed by the Pacific Ocean to the West, the Strait of Juan De Fuca to the North, and the immense forests of the Olympics to the East. 

The diversity of ecosystems in the Forks area provides a multitude of recreation opportunities including access to the Sol Duc River, Bogachiel River and North Fork Calawah Rivers. The Bogachiel River Trail through the Bogachiel River valley provides access into the Olympic National Park.
