Lower Pete's Creek Trail #858.1

The trail traverses a flat bench with Douglas-fir and western hemlock before dropping 400 feet to the West Fork Humptulips River. From the Pete's Creek Trailhead the river is reached in a short 1.0 mile. The Lower Pete’s Creek Trail acts as a link between Pete's Creek Trail #858 and West Fork Humptulips River Trail #806.

Caution: Hikers should use extreme caution when choosing to ford the West Fork Humptulips River.
