Rattlesnake Trailhead

Provides access to: Rattlesnake Trail #3129 which enters Wenaha-Tucannon Wilderness.

The trailhead is located just beyond the Panjab Campground.

Parking is available next to fish information board. Trail takes off across the creek so be prepared to get your feet wet.

Forest trails are not maintained and typically not accessible from late fall through late spring due to snow. Please call the local Ranger District Office for up-to-date information.

Getting There

Directions

From Highway 12 between Pomeroy and Dayton, WA, turn south on the Tucannon River Road. Follow road for 32 miles to where road Y's. Take Forest Service Road 4713 for 100 yards.

From Dayton, WA head northeast on Patit Road for 14 miles. Then turn left onto Harstock Road and follow for about 3 miles. Then turn right onto Tucannon Road and follow for about 15 miles.  Then go right on Forest Road Forest Road 4713 and follow for about a half mile.

Parking is available next to fish information board. Trail takes off across the creek so be prepared to get your feet wet.
