Jump Off Joe Lake Trail #3012
Not to be confused with the Sharps Ridge Trail #3026, which leads to the actual peak, the Jumpoff Joe Lake Trail leads from FS-45 road to the small, natural lake settled beneath Jumpoff Joe Peak. The trail is relatively short, but climbs nearly 300 ft in less than 1/2 mile. The trail gets minimal use and has a few down trees and some overgrown brush, but it is not difficult to pass these obstacles.
This trail is within the Vinegar Hill/Indian Rock Scenic Area.
