Medicine Rock Cultural Site
Medicine Rock is a large boulder that lies just below the south facing ridge above Soda Springs Reservoir. There are two crack climbs on either side of the rock. The most popular of these is Crazy Crack (5.10c, approximately 80 feet in height).

- Full rack with smaller placements on the bottom half and larger placements on the upper half.
Things to consider:
There are no seasonal restrictions at Medicine Rock. The best time to climb is late Spring, Summer, or Fall. Glide (approximately 1 hr) is the nearest full service community to Medicine Rock. Eagle Rock and Boulder Creek campgrounds on the North Umpqua River are nearby. The closest store, gasoline and telephone phone are at the Dry Creek Store. The nearest Ranger Station is the Diamond Lake Ranger Station at Toketee. Nearest lodging and restaurant is the Steamboat Inn and Lemolo Lake.

Directions
From Roseburg, OR take Highway 138 East / Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard east to milepost 55 (past Boulder Flat Campground). Turn left onto Medicine Creek Road, Forest Road 4775. Take Forest Road 4775 north to the 1-mile marker just before Forest Road 100. Park on the short spur road on the left hand side of the road. From here, walk 115 feet west (260 degrees) to the edge of a steep slope, Hike a game trail along the ride up 150 feet northwest (320 degrees). From this point, descend the slope walking west (285 degrees) for 200 feet to Medicine Rock.
