Rujada Campground
This campground is operated by a concessionaire under permit from the Umpqua National Forest.
An inviting, forested campground with access to Layng Creek and Swordfern Trail #1404, Rujada Campground offers modern day amenities for an easy, stress-free getaway. This campground has 12 campsites with picnic tables, firepits or grills, and tent pads. A playground and large day use picnic area means you will not feel too far from civilization, while the local undergrowth—including wildflowers like pioneer violet and wild iris—feels outdoorsy. When you are ready to escape into the forest, the 1.8-mile Swordfern Trail #1404 starts at the day use site and loops around the campground, taking you along the shore of Layng Creek, over a wooden footbridge, through lush swordfern understory, and down an abandoned logging road until you return to the campground. If 1.8 miles is too far you can also choose to do a shorter loop.

- At night keep your dogs and other pets inside an enclosed vehicle or in a tent.
- Dogs may not be left alone at your campsite, picnic area or in your vehicle.
- Never leave your dog alone in a closed vehicle or tent even for a short time. It may whine or bark while you are away.
