Wallowa-Whitman National Forest Temporary Road Closure

BAKER CITY, Ore. — To maintain public and operator safety during line logging operation on the Sparta timber sale, the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest will be closing Forest Service Road 7020. The road will be closed starting June 9 through June 27, 2025, from Lily White Guard station, east to Eagle Creek at Forest Service Road 7700.
An alternate route to Eagle Creek and Forest Service Road 7700 will be Forest Service Road 7015, Empire Gulch.
