Getting There

Directions

From Lowell, Oregon, travel 8 miles east on Highway 58 and turn right at Forest Road 5833 (Highway 58 Milepost 20.6). Proceed on this road (Goodman Creek Road) for 3.1 miles. Turn right onto Forest Road 490. The trailhead is located on the left side of the road.

To reach upper trailhead, continue on Forest Road 5833 for 1.4 miles to the junction with Forest Road 5833-509. Keep to the right and travel 0.7 mile to the top of the ridge and the junction with Forest Road 5833-511.

Turn right onto the Eagles Rest Access Road, which overlaps with the Lost Creek Road, Bureau of Land Management Road 20-1-14, and proceed 1.4 miles. The trailhead can be accessed from Lost Creek Valley (to the west of Eagles Rest) by traveling east on the valley road and turning off on to the Eagles Rest Access Road.
