Current Conditions
This is in an area impacted by the 208 MF Fire. Recent wildfires on the Willamette have increased likelihood of landslides, mudslides, flash floods, and debris flows.

General Information

Wilderness Self-Issue Permit required for both day use and overnight stays from June 15 through October 15. Free permits are self-issued at the trailhead.

Directions

From Oakridge, OR, travel east on Highway 58 for 2 miles to Kitson Springs County Road. Turn right and proceed on Kitson Springs County Road (which becomes Forest Road 23) for about 20 miles to the Vivian Lake Trailhead located on the left side of Forest Road 23.
