Buffalo Mountain ATV Trail
Buffalo Mountain ATV Trail (BMATV), NFST #29 is a 13-mile linear ATV trail located along the ridgeline of Buffalo Mountain in Unicoi County.
The trail is close to metropolitan Johnson City and is easily accessed by TN 67 and TN 81 (an interchange of I-26).
A fee of $5.00 per vehicle is required to park at Horse Cove Gap trailhead, the only legal access to the trail. The area is also popular with mountain bikers who use the trail and forest roads.
