Flatwoods Boat Ramp
Flatwoods Boat Ramp is located along the shores of Laurel River Lake adjacent to the Flatwoods Picnic Area. Flatwoods Trail #470 connects the boat ramp and the picnic area along the shoreline. Fishing is not allowed from the boat ramp, but once you are in the water, you will find a wide variety of fish species including black bass, rainbow trout, walleye, crappie, blue gill, and catfish. Night fishing for trout is also popular during the summer months. Swimming or sunbathing within 100 feet of any boat launch ramp or courtesy boat dock is prohibited for public safety. The site has paved parking, a concrete ramp, a courtesy dock and visitor information.

A Daniel Boone National Forest recreation pass (hang tag or sticker) must be displayed inside vehicles parked at the boat ramp. Passes may be purchased from Forest offices or local vendors for $5/day; $7/3 day; $50 annual.

Directions
From I-75 exit 29 (Corbin), take KY 770 west for 1.3 miles. Stay straight on KY 312 west for 0.5-mile. Turn left on KY 3430 for 2.3 miles. Turn left on Forest Service Road 758 (Flatwoods Road) for 2.4 miles.
