Broad and cypress-lined, Silver Glen Run is a popular destination for boaters with a draft shallow enough to cross the bar at its mouth. Houseboats and sailboats frequently anchor beneath the tall cypress trees, where you might spot a nesting pair of eagles. Paddle along the edges to see wildlife and ancient middens.
