Hurricane Creek Horse & Primitive Campground

This primitive camping area is located in the midst of a multitude of trails for hikers and horseback riders. A horse camp Is available with stalls. A vault toilet and fire rings are available. Access to horse trails is available directly from the horse camp. Big and small game hunting occurs in the surrounding area.

General Information

Horses are permitted only in the horse camp area and on trails. Fire are permitted only in fire rings. No camping within 50 feet of water.

Overnight Use:
Single Site: $6 per night

$6 per camping unit on a first come, first serve basis

From Franklin, take US 64W for 9 miles, turn left on old US 64 and follow signs to Standing Indian Campground. Continue south on FS Rd 67 passed Standing Indian Campground for 2 miles. Gravel road
