Clear Lake

Located within Unit 41 of the LBJ National Grasslands, Clear Lake is an 18-acre flood prevention lake that was constructed by the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and provides excellent fishing opportunities.

 A fully accessible 50-foot T-shaped pier constructed by volunteers provides all anglers access to fishing. The water depth at the end of the pier is 20+ feet.

Directions:

From Decatur, follow U.S. Highway 81/287 north 6 miles and turn right on C.R. 2395. Cross RR tracks and turn left on C.R. 2391. Go 1/4 mile and turn left on F.S. Road 928; follow for 1 mile to pier.

Open to the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
