Double Lake Recreation Area

Double Lake Recreation Area was built in 1937 by the Civilian Conservation Corps and offers camping, fishing, swimming, picnicking, hiking or just getting back in touch with nature.

A 21-mile mountain bike trail meanders around the lake which is stocked with bass, bream and catfish. For hikers, a 5-mile hike (one way) on the Lone Star Hiking Trail provides an opportunity to experience the Big Creek Scenic Area.

Single Site: $20 per night
Single Site with electric hook-up: $32 per night
Double Site with electric hook-up: $62 per night
Single RV Site with electric hook-up: $30 per night

Group Site: $85 per night
Day Use:
$7 per vehicle per day
Group Shelter with electric: $115 per day (1-50 people); $140 per day (51-75 people)
Group Shelter: $55 per day (1-25 people); $65 per day (26-50 people)

Day Use Fee - $7 per vehicle, per day.
