East Hamilton Boat Ramp

The East Hamilton Boat Ramp, located on the 185,000-acre Toledo Bend Reservoir, is maintained and operated by the Sabine River Authority of Texas.

The SRA-TX operates and maintains additional recreation areas in Sabine National Forest within the Toledo Bend Project under a special use permit with the National Forests and Grasslands in Texas. For more information 409-565-2273

Located at the end of FM 2261, east of Patroon, the boat ramp offers access to the reservoir throughout most of the year. The reservoir is administrated by the Sabine River Authority of Texas and Louisiana.

Camping is not allowed in the parking area.

DAY-USE FEE - $2.00 per vehicle, per day.

From San Augustine follow FM 353 east for 12 miles; follow Highway 87 north for 1.5 miles to Patroon; follow FM 2261 east for 12 miles to boat ramp entrance.
