Udell Lookout Tower

This tower was erected in 1936, and is not open to the public or accessible. For many years Forest Service employees would sit in the tower to watch for fires and to facilitate radio communications during a fire. There is a connector trail to the Big "M" Trail System. Interpretive panels about the tower provide visitors with information on its history and use. The fire tower trail connects behind the fire tower to the Big "M" Trails.
