Perch Lake Campground

Perch Lake Campground is located 10 miles south of Sidnaw on the Kenton Ranger District.  This one loop campground provides 20 drive-in campsites that can accommodate tents, trailers and motor homes. This location provides visitors with excellent fishing, and a unique camping experience, with many of the spacious sites having lake access. Campsites are separated by natural vegetation for screening.  Each site offers a wood table, fire ring, and parking spur. Two sets of vault toilets, one accessible vault toilet and two hand pumps for drinking water are found within the camping loop. There is a boat ramp and parking area adjacent to the campground.

Fees shown are for the summer recreation period when full services are provided.  During the early spring and late fall when no services are provided the fees at some areas are not charged. Camping in a developed recreation site is allowed for a period not longer than 14 days, except as otherwise posted. After this time, you must move to another campground or dispersed site for at least 24 hours. Campers must occupy the site the first night. Eight people and 2 motorized vehicles are allowed per campsite with a maximum of one RV or camper trailer and two tents per camping site or three tents per camping site.

Camping - $22 a night
Day use/boat launch - $5/vehicle/day or $30/vehicle/season
Day use fees will not be charged to those who have already paid for a campground campsite.

Directions

Perch Lake Campground is located in Iron County 10 miles southeast of the town of Sidnaw on the Kenton Ranger District in the eastern half of the Ottawa National Forest. From Sidnaw larger towns of Ironwood and Marquette are within 2-hour drives. 

From Sidnaw, travel south on Sidnaw Road approximately 10 miles to the campground. The road is paved for approximately 6 ½ miles and then turns to gravel. 

From Iron River, take County Road 657 north approximately 15 miles, turn slight right onto FR 2130, travel approximately 9 ½ miles on FR 2130 to Sidnaw Road, turn left onto Sidnaw Road and travel approximately 2 miles to the campground.

Perch Lake is a 994-acre lake that is popular to those that like to get out into the deep woods to fish.  A boat landing provides lake access, and a vehicle/trailer parking area is also available.  Hannah-Web Lake and Winslow Lake are also located west of Perch Lake.
