Miners Ridge Trail 785

This trail is within Glacier Peak Wilderness. From the trailhead proceed uphill, leaving the Suiattle River and climbing numerous switchbacks, passing through forest with an occasional glimpse of the valley below. At 3.2 miles come to a junction and Sunnybrook Camp with a backcountry toilet. The trail to the east, Miners Cabin Trail 795, leads to Suiattle Pass, traversing the hillside below Miners Ridge and ending at the Glacier Peak Mines after two miles. Miners Ridge Trail continues north from the junction, switch backing up 2.3 miles through meadows and forest until you reach the ridge and another junction. To the west at 0.3 miles is Miners Ridge Lookout at 6,210-feet elevation.

Follow the main trail east 0.7 miles, traversing the hillside to the 3.8-acre Image Lake at 6,050 feet. Horses are permitted on the upper trail only. The hitching area is beyond the lake basin, just before Canyon Lake Trail 797. Campsites open to stock are one mile east of the lake at Lady Camp. Backpackers can camp in an area just southeast of the lake. Camping and off-trail stock use within the lake basin is prohibited. No campfires allowed.

Continue east 1.6 miles beyond Image Lake to find the remnant of Glacier Peak Mines and the junction with the Miners Cabin Trail 795. Miners Ridge Trail traverses the hillside for another 1.6 miles, where it joins the Pacific Crest Trail 2000 at 0.7 miles west of Suiattle Pass.
