Snowmobiling

With its deep powder snow, mountainous terrain and scenic open space, the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache has fast become a destination location for the growing sport of snowmobiling. More than a half million acres are designated for snowmobile use across the Forest. And, over 220 miles of trails are groomed throughout the winter, in cooperation with Utah Division of Parks and Recreation.

Snowmobiling is an exhilarating experience. The same power that makes your machine fun and fast, can also make it dangerous and imposing. An number of regulations are in place to insure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Snowmobilers and other motorized over-snow vehicle users, such as snow cats and truck outfitted with tracks, must adhere to the rules and guidelines.
