How to Apply
The USFS Acquisition Management Trainee Program operates in three to four-year cycles. After the outreach period, positions are advertised under normal hiring authorities on USAJobs.gov link to USAJobs.gov.
Outreach Notices are typically sent to the USFS database, local colleges and universities, and professional organizations in order to notify potential applicants of future openings. Applicants do not need to respond to an outreach notice in order to apply in the future, however ALL applicants must apply through USAJobs.gov in order be considered for the position. Resumes sent by e-mail, post mail, or any method other than through USAJobs.gov will not be considered.
Parties interested in working with AQM or the USFS outside of the trainee program should search for current openings on USAJobs.gov.
