Deyo Reservoir Grand Opening June 29

After nearly 20 years of collaborative effort, the Deyo Reservoir will be open to fishing on June 29, 2013. Come join us at Deyo Reservoir, 3.5 miles west of Weippe, ID, and enjoy this long awaited celebration. Idaho Department of Fish and Game will have their fishing trailer on site to loan out rods and help beginning anglers

- 9:00 - Hear from those people who helped make this reservoir a reality.
- 10:00 - Cut the ribbon and let the fishing begin! .
- 12:00 - Idaho Fish and Game sponsored barbeque (burgers, hotdogs, chips, cookies, and lemonade).
This project, which will include hiking trails and interpretive panels, was a Challenge Cost Share Agreement with the Weippe Community Center, the NPNHT, and many other partners.
