For some types of jobs, a flexible workplace arrangement may be desired. Flexible workplace arrangements are known as telework or telecommuting. Telecommuting is most often thought of as working at home. It can also include working at satellite work centers, customer sites, or hotels. Working at the U.S. General Stores, which are a one stop access for multiple government services, are another form of telecommuting. Telecommuting employees usually spend part of each work week in their regular office. Telecommuting may be used on a full or part time basis.
