Why Should I Telecommute?

Telecommuting can reduce office overcrowding and provide a distraction free environment for the telecommuting employee. It can also reduce traffic and parking congestion, energy consumption, air pollution, and can be an excellent way to accommodate persons with disabilities temporarily, until the office facility can be made accessible. Use of alternative office arrangements can also increase customer access to services and allow services to continue if the regular office must be closed.
