Projects

Under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the environmental effects of a proposed activity on National Forest or other federal lands must first be analyzed, with opportunity for public comment, before a decision is made on whether or not to undertake that activity. The Forest NEPA Projects below are projects that we are analyzing or have analyzed under the NEPA process.

The Schedule of Proposed Actions (SOPA), published quarterly, makes it easier for you to keep track of and participate in our planning efforts. It lists all the projects we will be working on in the coming months. There is a contact person listed for each project that you can get in touch with for additional information.
