The Cumberland District is the northernmost district of the Daniel Boone National Forest. This district covers 182,694 acres and spans eight counties: Rowan, Bath, Menifee, Morgan, Powell, Wolfe, Estill, and Lee. Notable district attractions include Cave Run Lake, Red River Gorge and Gladie Visitor Center.
