Searching for geocaches, earthcaches or virtual caches is allowed on the Daniel Boone National Forest. Locations of caches are not provided by the forest, but can sometimes be found by searching on the internet or contacting a local geocaching club. 

Cache owners should get permission from the local District Ranger before placing or publishing a cache site.

Geocaching is prohibited in Beaver Creek and Clifty Wilderness.
