Russell R. Reynolds showing several men (Custer Ross, unidentified, Reynolds) a pine cut as a part of the 25th annual harvest of the Crossett EF's "Poor" Farm Forestry Forty. This loblolly pine was 24 inches in DBH and contained 578 board feet of lumber. Tree had been seriously suppressed when young, and had a fire scar at its base, but grew well for 50 years after release.
