Mixed conifer-white birch residual stand photo. Taken facing N85E from a spot 2.06 chains N78E of stake 83-20. No initial stand photo of this area. The area was occupied primarily by mature and over mature hemlock. Cutter dicontinued cutting after the poor quality of the hemlock became evident. Seed source spruce is abundant on the perimeter of this area. Some small spruce and white pine reproduction present in limited number.
