| Comments: | 1928, 1913, and 1959. Taken 20' behind corner B4, Plot S5III(B). Area fenced in 1919. Shows chiefly how slash has decayed. Near stump where man sits are several seedlings about 1' tall. These have come in since the death of Tree No. 725 which is just outside of picture (to right). Immediately behind the down snag in foreground are seven seedlings 1' to 2' tall. These also are not visible in the picutre. There are no seedlins in the quadrat itself. See La-137 (1959). See also DJN-115 |
