Rake for Aquatic Vegetation Sampling
Rey Farve, Project Leader
Field Test
In late June 2008, we brought the prototype aquatic rake to the Medicine Bow - Routt National Forests in Laramie, WY to allow forest service personnel to field test the rake and provide comments. Kathy Roche (the proposer) and Johnny Proctor tested the rake.
The following photos show Kathy and Johnny using the rake at a local pond to sample aquatic vegetation.

Johnny Proctor test the aquatic rake (with comb head attachment) while Kathy Roche (center) and Joe Fleming (SDTDC) look on.

Johnny using the rake fully extended to 11 feet.
