Missoula Technology and Development Center
Bert Lindler has been the editor at MTDC since 1995. After receiving a master's degree in science writing from the University of Missouri in 1975, he worked for a year as a writer and editor at the Forest Service's Fire Sciences Laboratory in Missoula, MT. That experience helped him during the 15 years that he covered natural resource issues—including wildland and prescribed fires—for the Great Falls Tribune in Great Falls, MT. He rejoined the Forest Service in 1992, working as an editor for the Intermountain Research Station in Ogden, UT.
