Hazardous Energy Control, also known as
Lockout/Tagout (29 CFR 1910.147)

Prescribes the measures required to control hazardous energy to avoid accidental restart when an employee is working on equipment and includes informing employees of another employer working at the same location (multi-employer worksites may be affected).
