Loon Lake Campground and Trailhead is temporarily closed for the season.
The Loon Lake Campground and Trailhead is closed this season for reconstruction. The boatramp is open for day use only though Labor Day weekend and then it will close for construction. The water system will not be operational during this time.

Using a motorized wheeled vehicle on the roads and trails in the Silver Bear Snowmobile Trail System.

Forestwide Seasonal Dirt Road Closure
All native surface (dirt, unpaved) roads and trails are seasonally closed from January 1 through March 31st. During these winter and spring months vehicle use on dirt roads and trails is prohibited.

Going into the Avalanche Closure Boundary Area when the Forest Service identifies avalanche hazards.

Using any motor vehicle on the trail during this time period.

03-24-203 Wet Weather Closure for Rock Creek Trails
This temporary closure for OHVs, bicycles and equestrians is triggered after 1.5 inches of rainfall, and is lifted after a 48 hour period of drying weather; it affects all other Rock Creek Trails not part of the Critical Deer Winter Range. Call 530-344-6477 for the status of the trails.

Blue Hole Trail Closed - Salt Springs Reservoir
Blue Hole Trail 16E25: The bridge on the Blue Hole Trail is damaged and not safe for passing. The trail is closed at the trailhead. The Salt Springs day use site and reservoir are still open.
