The Record of Decision, revised Forest Plan, and Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) were finalized on January 5, 2015. The final documents are available below.

If you commented on the draft Forest Plan and Draft EIS, responses to your substantive comments may be found in Appendix G of the FEIS.

Pre-decisional Administrative Review Process (Objection Process)

The Idaho Panhandle National Forests used a Pre-decisional Administrative Review Process, also known as an “Objection Process.” The Objection Filing Period for the revised plan began September 28 (the day after notice was published in the Coeur d’Alene Press newspaper of record) and ended November 26, 2013. The forest received 22 objections during this period. Following review by a reviewing officer appointed by the Chief of the Forest Service. An objection resolution meeting was held in April 2013 with the reviewing officer and the final response to objections was issued in September 2014.
