The Forest offers two recreation maps, one for the north end of the Forest which covers the Ketchum and Fairfield Ranger Districts and the Sawtooth National Recreation Area, and one for the south end which covers the Minidoka Ranger Districts.
Maps and brochures are available free or by purchase at local Forest offices or online, to assist visitors with planning for their trips or to provide directions to the many accessible areas on the Forest.
Motor Vehicle Use Maps are the official map for designating all roads, trails and areas available for public motorized travel on National Forest lands. Visitors should not rely on any other maps for making decisions about motorized travel.
