Map Correction Note:  An error was made in the Wilderness information on the reverse side of the Trail Map sold by the Friends of the Shawnee National Forest.  Please disregard the statement that equestrian activities are not allowed in Burden Falls Wilderness.  Burden Falls Wilderness lies outside of the Trail Designation Project Area (which is the area mostly covered in this Trail Map) and therefore is not subject to the same restrictions as the Lusk Creek, Bay Creek, and Garden of the Gods Wildernesses.  Horseback riding is allowed throughout the Burden Falls Wilderness. We apologize for any confusion.

The Eddyville/Herod Trail Map is available to purchase at the Harrisburg and Vienna Forest offices. To order the map through the mail visit the   Friends of the Shawnee website.
